Aircel problem: Please help!

hello all,
yesterday my friend got an aircel prepaid sim. the delivery man gave ONLY the sim and not the booklet. so, she doesnt know her cell number.its over 24 hrs and the SIM is still not activated yet. i called customer care and they advised me to get hold of the delivery man. but due to her bad luck, the delivery man has gone for a leave.
is there any way of knowing the cell number of the SIM.

Try *1#. This works in reliance don't know about other providers.

Hmm.....ok there is another method.
Go to "Tools," "Settings," "Options" or another similar menu on your cell phone. Look for "My Number" option. Your number will be displayed onscreen. This method will only work on certain phone models.

thanks. but i cant go beyond the 'inactivated SIM' caption. i guess, only a certain code will work here.
