Right off the assembly line
First a background. I am working in Pune but this week I am in Delhi (so Nehru Place is accessible). I have a laptop for casual gaming, but now its giving me problems so want to buy a gaming desktop this week itself (Fri and Saturday). Also kindly recommend if a online portal like Under Construction is ok? or getting the pc assembled from NP is better. (Please note that I have to take the desktop back to Pune - if the shop can arrange for a shipping that will be great).

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans:
Mostly Gaming in my free time. I have games like NFS Hot Pursuit, Crysis 1 and 2, Battlefield 3, Mass Effect 2, 3. I want them to run good (also consider Crysis 3) at 1600 * 1080 res.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans:
35K. Sorry a bit stuck on the budget part.

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:
Occasionally, if situation requires ( one in a while a games comes that hits your PC hard).

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:
Windows 7 Home Premium (x64)

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans:
500GB will suffice

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans:
Preferably 19-20" LED Monitor. (Dell, BenQ, Phillips??)

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans:
It a Desktop from scratch. What I have is mouse, keyboard, and a DVD drive.

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans:
This Fri-Sat ( 17-18 August 2012)

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans:
I want it to be assembled by the shop itself. I have done repairs before myself but not confident enough to handle new hardware.

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans:
This week I am in Delhi. So NP (Delhi) is within reach. Although please note that I live in Pune so will have to take it there by myself or get it shipped by the assembler himself (if possible). Other option is to go via online route (Under Construction) , but prices are a bit steep online as I see it.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans:
Nope. Thanks. :)
