Advice needed for upgrading RAM

A friend of mine wishes to upgrade his computer's RAM.He owns an intel D945GCCR chipset based motherboard which only supports 533 MHz and 400 MHz DDR2 Ram.However as of now,only 800MHz DDR2 modules are available in the market.He's currently using 1 gb ddr2 533 Mhz ram.Will he face any compatibility issues if he adds another 2GB 800MHZ DDR2 module to his system?Please reply.

There will be no compatibility issue if your friend buys 800MHz RAM and couples with existing 533MHz RAM, as newly bought RAM would automatically run @533MHz.

Thanks dude,my friend has purchased a Starlite 533 MHz DDR2 RAM for Rs 1750 approx today.
