Acer V5 571G laptop

Hi guys,

Just bought a new Acer V5 571G laptop which comes with Win7 installed, is it worth upgrading to Win 8? MS is currently offering the upgrade @ 699 offer.
I set to loose the Acer proprietry software if i upgrade.

Also, please share your experences about this model if you own.

You are not going to loose anything. Acer will provide updated softwares for windows 8. Lenovo has already released updates for windows 8.
