Acer today unveiled the new Ferrari 5000 and Ferrari 1000 laptops
Based on AMD Turion 64 X2 dual core mobile processor, the new Ferrari 5000 is a 15.4-inch widescreen laptop essentially replacing the Ferrari 4000 and comes with HD-DVD drive. The Ferrari 1000 is a 12-inch widescreen ultraportable. Both wrapped around carbon fiber casing and of course sport the Ferrari Formula One design with Black and Ferrari Red trim.

Nice to see the 12" version of the ferrari, but I think it was time for them to shift to Intel for good. What are your views?
