98 and xp install immediate soln required

friends i also want to install 98se
i have XP PRO SP1 on C:
i have 2 hd's 40 GB each
i have 3 partitions on 1 st hd C:,E:,F:
And on 2nd D: & G:
tell me where to & how to install 98se that i will not face any problem!

Friends i also want to tell u that i have Antivir latest! it detects a virus or something named msdirectx.sys it shows the popup always tell me how to remove the virus

i suggest u install in D: or G: This way, if 1 of ur HD crashes, u have an os on the other, and can boot from it.

-Boot in safe mode
- start, run msconfig
- remove msnt.exe from start list
- reboot in safe mode
- from command prompt, go to c: and check for msdirectx.sys and delete it
- go to windows/system32, check for msdirectx.sys and delete it
- go to windows/prefetch & search for a file with msnt in its name and delete

Search for msdirectx in the registry and find the corresponding name. Note the name of the file it corresponds to (in my case this was msnt.exe). Delete all entries of msdirectx.sys. Now search for the corresponding file name (msnt.exe) in the registry and delete all of these entries.

Delete all of these and also do a search for msdirectx.exe again.
