An 80-year-old man from the Panchwati area of city on Monday filed a complaint with cybercrime police stating that 33 persons duped him of Rs 9 crore after luring him with a tour package worth Rs 10,000

Seems weird. For 10k, did he really spent 9 crore? What his family members were doing, when he's spending the exorbitant amount in all those transactions?

Avtani paid them the money into 186 different accounts, between June 2016 and December 2019. He has named 96 persons as accused.

the total amount involved in the fraud makes us feel a Fake news....I still can't believe if its real or fake.

Looks like fake news to me. Nobody would spend that much before reporting fraud.
