I had previously open a thread here for 35K budget and then had secured a good second deal for pc but at end moment the seller cancelled the plan to sell it. So, I am need to make a Gaming Rig under 60K.

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: Web Browsing, Skype and Latest Games simultaneously. Games: BF4, Crysis 3, Batman Arkham Origins and the upcoming GTA V

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: 60K (Please not even a single penny more than it)

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: No

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Windows 8.1 (Already have this)

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: Already have a Segate 1TB 7200.12.

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: Yes, a full hd monitor.

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: Mouse, Keyboard, Speakers, UPS

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: I'll be visiting lamington road on 27th (Monday)

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: I will build it myself.

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: I will buy from Lamington Road, Mumbai.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: I have two options: R9 280x or R9 270x/GTX 650 Ti Boost + SSD.
Will 4GB Ram enough for gaming on ultra settings for games like bf4, crysis 3?

Thanks!

^ Thanks! I just got a heart attack when I read somewhere that 12.5 % VAT will be added on the final bill at lamington road. Finally I can rest with peace. 27th will be a very big day for me as I have waited from 4 years to build a gaming rig.

try as many as shops you can to get better price. also try to bargain to your maximum :D also VAT is 5.5% and not 12.5%. dont get heart attack after getting the pc :p
if you can also try online shops, then try at mdcomputers, itdepot, itwares, smcinternational, primeabgb,,deltaperipherals, snapdeal, flipkart etc.

Finally bought this rig. :hyper: :hyper: I'm so happy today. :D I've paid by cheque, so will have to wait for the delivery until it is cleared. I will post pics once I receive the pc. A big thanks to Ashish, Harshil, rijinpk1 and others for suggestions.

Intel i5 4440 + Gigabyte B85-D3H @ 18,800
Kingston Hyperx 4GB 1600 Mhz @ 2950
Sapphire Dual-X R9 270X 2GB GDDR5 OC WITH BOOST@ 16,500
Samsung 840 EVO 120GB SSD @ 6800
Seasonic S12II 520 @ 4900
Dell S2240L @ 9100
NZXT Gamma @ 2850
Asus 24x Black DVD @ 1250

Total: 63,150 + VAT = 65,500

All components were purchased from MaxWorld. Prices were on a bit higher side and I did my best to get the prices reduced everywhere by showing them the online sites. Please don't kill me by saying that I should have gone for R9 280X instead of SSD. I always wanted to experience the performance of a SSD. Bitfenix was not available in Lamington Road and therefore went for Gamma. The monitor price has increased on snapdeal so went for local purchase.

Please suggest some games for this beauty. Thanks!
