3d Studio Max 8 Error

My internet speed is too slow that i can't download more than 100 MB in a day i install the Trial version of Studio Max 8, it perfectly installed but when i run the program it gives me directx error.

Please help me. This is my first time when i am using the studio max.

Install the latest direct x version from microsoft.com

Reinstall/upgrade direct X.
Why don't you try blender instead? it uses openGL to render everything including its own interface!

do what mastermind said, and if it still doesn't work, replace that file with another one which you can download from some p2p client
