Chipset, Motherboard and onboard stuff in the motherboard.
Screen resolution - native and max
hard disk RPM
DVD writer's supported formats and maximum/minimum speeds
Processor's Exact Model Number(dual core is a generic term. Pentium Dual Core, Pentium D or Core2 ? And by telling the model number, we can verify the L1/L2 cache, voltage consuption, etc)
Anyway, the price is still a rip off, conciering the fact that I can buy similar configurations for just a triffle more. Just look at Dell and Compaq laptops if you know what I mean.
Weather 4 months old or 2 months old, a second hand laptop is a second hand laptop, and most aren't exactly fond of buying such laptops for only slightly less than the MRP of similar stuff in the market.
