163 GB data @ 4.7 GB DVD

i was shocked when want to copy of movies Oh My God! in my computer that recently purchased - there is not enough space on Disk. when i was see inside there is DVD data contains 163GB . all the screen shot avail(below).

Is it possible 163GB of data can store in 4.7 GB of DVD . please any one help me how it possible . i am confused.

yes , i have already check in one laptop and 2 desktop also.same results. how it is outside memory 4.37 GB and inside 163GB. please. !!

Only link points are there in the file system of the CD, that's why it is showing 163GB. If you try to open/play those files then you will see apart from ~4GB files, all are corrupted.

if its the ~ahem~ kind of dvd, then its a possibility. and as said above, only a few will work, if they work at all...

OPs DVD has a BIG VIRUS

Hearing first time it is happening for DVD's, it used to happen for some chinese pen drives,mp3 player. long time back when pen drive was 256 -512 mb, I bought a mp3 player of SONI (yes it is I) of 2 GB @ 1500 rs. In my computer it shows disk space as 2 GB but whenever i tried to store data above 200 mb, it showed file size in TB, and the file get corrupt. May be some kind hardware tweak, that will only show data storage as increased.

I think in this case the disc was not properly burned. Are you able to play the movies?

VTS_01_1.vob, VTS_01_2.vob ...... VTS_01_5.vob contain movie.

also VTS_02_1.vob to VTS_02_5 .vob contain same movie and playing ok.

Every .vob files are playing ok. No one is corrupted .

yes it is stuck .

but i already watch this movies without any difficult with normal play . sound and video quality are awesome without any stock

If you want to save the movie file create an iso image. And use Deamon tools(or any Virtual Drive software) to mount it. I think the image will take only 4 GB.

And I have no idea why it is showing that 163 GB.
