So guys my budget crashed to a freaking low 45k due to some chit chat of my cousin wid my parents and I need to build a gaming rig before Santa arrives. pls suggest the cheapest graphics card that supports 1080p gaming as I will be switching it with a 960 in Q2/Q3 2015.
1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run?
Ans: All latest 2014 games +expecting another 2 years gaming at mid settings(with a 960 off course) . I am studying btech I. t second year, so some coding works.
2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: 45k max with monitor included
3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:Nope, although you can suggest the benefits and risks of overclocking as I am a newbie.
4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:Windows Linux kali Linux
5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans:Not need as I already have an old Samdung 500 gigs and am external 1 tb wd. Would I need an HD for gaming separately ???
6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans:yes I would. The bigger the better. FHD
7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans:TABLE, HD, speakers.
8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans During Christmas offers.
9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans:I will be building it.
10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?

Ansls suggest the cheapest gfx that can play at min 30 fps low settings. Cheap as dirt. Other parts should be compatible and suit the 960 graphics. Is Zotac nvidia 730 2 GB DDR5 good ? I can get it for 5k.
