1060 gpu failed, new recommendation pls

Hi, my gpu failed 1060 6gb. looking for an upgrade. First thought was nvidia 4060 but after doing some research seems amd is the clear winner.

6750xt falls directly into budget, however 7700xt and 7800 xt and brand new, more expensive but new is certainly nice, is it worth strecting to 45k or 55k? will i see a noticable difference if i spend more? ( and the same time if new, but i dont want issues aswell )

games i play is cod mw2, A new game is coming out called cities skylines 2 and i want it to butter it. rest other games i play like football manager is an over kill. Dcs is what im thinking to try, other activaties like trading scanning and algo will also be an over kill.

specs
cpu is ryzen 1700x - technician is like chalraha toh chalne do,

b450 mobo
16x4 3000 mz ram
monitor full hd, not 2k or 4k.
750 watts psu.

Also technician was like case is a bit rusted and was like if buying new parts its better to get new case as rust spreads. - if this is the case. pls suggest me a case to. currently on some nzt model suggested by this forum 6 years back. around 4-6k i think it was i cant remember.

at this point not thinking of cpu ( maybe in dec ) upgrade but if u says ill consider- please suggest me here as not researched any cpu.

prime price is 35k for 6750xt. wanna upgrade asap.

Get RX 6750XT for 34k, Asus is good, don't buy AsRock or Sapphire. 7700XT is overpriced, will definitely fall in price. 7800XT is good if you have the budget & want that class of performance but I will highly recommend changing CPU as your CPU will bottleneck the 7800XT for sure, even 6750XT will be bottlenecked. IMO 7800XT is overkill for 1080p gaming, get it if you plan to upgrade monitor to 1440p (it costs 20k or so on sales).

R5 5600 is a great upgrade for you at ~13k. I expect Cities Skylines II to be CPU heavy, can consider 5700X for under 19k. Do look into the BIOS update stuff.

You will get Starfield as well with GPU.

Cabinet - Deepcool Matrexx 40 Mesh 3FS - a great mATX cabinet for cheap (3.5k), but won't fit ATX mobo, if that's what you have. Matrexx 55 Mesh 4FS is a good ATX case.

right now im thinking ill just do 6750 xt as urgently needed, rest after 2-3 months later will do a full upgrade with an 50k additional budget in mind. Right now slightly short on funds but if needed to then ill just use the credit card if performance gonna take a big hit. will it run smoothly for casual gaming till i upgrade the cpu in 2 months time? or u highly recommend getting a new cpu now only? either 5600 now or like 7700x in 2-3 months?

For 1080p, it's not gonna take big hit. It will run fine, of course CPU will be a weaker for the new GPU which you can upgrade down the line when you have money. If you wanna switch to AM5, then you will have to get new MB/RAM as well. So save for those as well.

Even with 6750XT, the CPU bottleneck will be there at 1080p. Even the 13k R5 5600 will be a big upgrade for gaming. You just need to look into BIOS update & change the CPU, can retain mobo & RAM. Jump from R7 1700 to R5 5600 will be bigger than jumping from R5 5600 to R7 7700X, if GPU is 6750XT.

If you are sure about upgrading CPU & other stuff in coming months, surely can live with the bottleneck for few months. Something liek R7 7700 is pretty futureproof & AM5 will be supported for few CPU gens like AM4 was, so can potentially upgrade CPU to maybe Ryzen 9th/10th gen in future, if needed.

I hope this graph is enough where even 6600XT is getting bottlenecked significantly by R5 1600 (same architecture, so R7 1700 will be like 5-10% faster at best):

CPU GPU scaling 2022.png

Some data on 5600X vs 7700, the difference shown below will be much lower with even 7800XT as 4090 is a different beast:

I decided finally go for both 6750xt and 5600 ( so hard :( )but the computer shop guy was like b450 is not good enough and you wont see a noticable performance upgrade which is getting me annoyed now lol. Do i need to buy a new mobo to now?

basicly he saying go get an upgrade later, for now just buy a 1650 graphic, heart is set on a nicer graphic card if spending defiently dont wanna downgrade.

Also please alternative, now think to getting the upgrade early - so kinda new build.

gpu - 6750 xt
cpu - get the 5600? or if need to upgrade new mobo then 7 series? the technician saying his clients are having issues with amd high end saying get intel. - whats your view?
mobo which one if need to changee.
mobo - which?
case - ?
cooler - ?

I dont wanna exceed 60-65k at the same time dont wanna go lower then 6750xt.

He is lying, but please research on B450 BIOS updates to support Ryzen 5000 CPUs, I heard some mobos will stop supporting Ryzen 1st gen after you install BIOS for Ryzen 5000 (so will have to get the new CPU, then update the BIOS). I know a guy running 5800X on his B450 Aorus, I think. VRMs of B450 might not be great for R7 or R9, but its enough for R5 5600 for sure.

6750XT (34k) + R5 5600 (14k) + new cabinet ( 3.5k) will be a good enough upgrade for 50k honestly, will save money as well. Get a new cooler if you want, Deepcool AG400 or AK400 are great choices.

Buying 1650 makes no sense. Alternative I would recommend will be to get 6750XT, live with CPU bottleneck for few months, then later upgrade CPU, mobo, RAM, case, etc.

This is a good potential upgrade with latest parts - 7600 + 6750XT, but will cost 79k. Need to add 2nd RAM stick later.

If you get GPU + case now, can get the remaining parts after a few months for under 50k with 2x16GB RAM, if money is an issue now.

Will you see a major difference in gaming performance b/w 5600 rig with old parts & 7600 rig with new part?
Nothing major, some new games might show upto 20% uplift but that's all IMO.

So take your call.

Is he selling the new parts? If so that's the reason he is pushing you to get new mobo and esp. 1650.

BTW, what's your exact motherboard model? If it's a decent one with heat sink in a decent ventilated case, it will do unless you wanna go crazy with OC.

He got a store, im surely not keen. for the old versions. my current one is b450 pro max.

I wont be upgrading futher or atleast not big money, plan is to spend 50k right now and rest when i have better savings will upgrade to cooler and case. 7600 dosent support ddr4 right? i got ram maxed out at 64 gb all 4 slots used 3000mz. ( you might ask why so much ram, cities skylines is ram intensive game, so upgraded over the years, one stick ive bought 7k :( rest all around 4-5k. these days way cheaper.
