    xorg.conf for NVIDIA

    can someone provide me a generic xorg.conf optimized for NVIDIA graphics card. It should have support for higher resolution i.e. 1280x1024 for a 17' CRT monitor. thanks.

    I m using MSI RS482M board on Athlon 64 3000+ processor with X200 inbuilt graphics accelerator...My PC is running fine with Ubuntu Edgy but only with 2D capabilities...The Xorg.conf file shows driver='ati'..Reading from Oreilly Ubuntu hacks i installed fglrx vdo drivers and edited the Xorg.conf...

    Editing the xorg.conf file using Xorg-Edit tool!!

    Many users other than Linux experts find themselves in a quandary as far as editing the xorg.conf file is concerned. The German forum Ubuntuusers.de have developed a GUI tool for Ubuntu called Xorg-Edit to configure the xorg.conf file. Read more about it here Download Xorg-Edit from here
