    Task manager network utilisation is not working

    I am using Windows 8 Pro. In the task manager, network utilisation always remains at zero even though network is being used. But the individual apps and processes state the amount of network bandwidth being used.

    CPU Utilisation 100%

    The CPU utilisation is for some reason always at the 100% mark. I rebooted the device but to no avail. What could be the problem? The laptop is also very hot right now. Is it related to the above problem? Kindly help.
