usb2

Hi Guys! I brought a new Enter Card reader which supports USB2 but everytime I connect it to my computer, it starts in USB1 and Windows gives a notification that it can perform faster if I plug it into USB2 port. All my ports are USB2 enabled as I am successfully able to use all other devices...

i have compaq evo d380mx pc [based on intel 845bg mobo], on motherboards driver cd, it has a driver for usb 2.0, also os is xpsp2 which has usb2 but system is running with usb 1, also there is no option found in biso to enable usb2, so how can usb2 be enabled in this pc?
