unhide

hi guys, when i try to unhide my hidden files via tools>folder options>view> show hidden files. it doesnt show my hidden files instead it would revert back to donot show hidden files i know this is caused by some virus:mad: and one more thing the anti virus has removed the infected file called...

well a virus attacked my drive... and i ended up having all the folder in my pendrive infected Every folder had ".exe" file in them... and so the story goes My antivirus deleted the worm or whatever (*****es)... and now my folder are perpetually hidden!! I cannot unhide them... what...

i had hidden some folders and when i try to unhide them i have problems with it ... i goto tools > folder optiion but it doesnt work ... the button gets unchecked .... when i look at i again ..... ... ps i can hide the files but .......
