Hi,
While trying to burn a 4gb file on a dvd, I got an message that burning 4gb is not supported on a ISO joliet mode and to instead use UDF.
Now are the any downside to using UDF format and which UDF format to use - 1.5 or 2.0 or 2.5 ?
Thanks
Gmount-iso, AcetoneIso ,Furius ISO Mount and Archive mounter are tools to mount ISO images in Ubuntu.
However none of them can mount a UDF ISO images it correctly. The mount folder contained a single file called readme.txt
So I have made 2 shell scripts to mount and unmount UDF and normal...
I keep getting error messages such as "illegal disc" does anyone know what's the problem?
I mainly use nero to burn movies, and I'm using a TDK burner with TDK DVD-R, by right it should be compatible.
Can anyone help me?:)
Here is my error log
Windows XP 5.1
IA32
WinAspi: -
NT-SPTI...
i may have run into a problem with the image file....
This disc contains a "UDF" file system and requires an operating system
that supports the ISO-13346 "UDF" file system specification.how to run this ?????????????????How to deal with???????????
When i inserted the Digit July05 CD i found tht it was in the UDF format.
isnt UDF supposed to be a format for DVDs and CDRs? So why is the Digit
CD based in the UDF format?Whats the advantage of UDF over CDFS??
