    problem when trying to run dos based applications in win xp

    i get an error like this, 16 bit windows subsystem c:\windows\system\autoexec.nt the file is not suitable to run on this file system and ms dos.... what is the solution to this problem and cause for it

    i have xp sp1 whenever i run cplus (turbo or bloodshed complier )or other dos based program it give error->autoexec.nt not suitable for running dos based program please help as i want to do cplus
