HI friends, can I connect SATA2 harddisk on Intel865gvhz motherboard....it contains SATA port... Does SATA2 fits in SATA1 port.....is it good or should I go for IDE hard disk- sujoyp

I am plannin to buy a 300GB hdd,my motherboard is 915..so basically supports SATA1...can i connect a SATA2 drive...I hv heard tat it will work at sata1 speeds..- Kenshin
