Imm on fedora 7. I am using gedit to do some basic javascript practice. Gedit automatically stores the older versions of the file with a "tidle" after the extention eg: "file.js~" These dont show up in nautilus but get uploaded via ftp, which is very irritating. How do i get rid of them? imm...

I mm downloading the iso of kubuntu EE but the maximum download speed imm able to get is 20KBps [that too from a french server.] Where as for Ubuntu DD imm getting a speed of 28Kbps Is there any alternative mirror [unlisted] i can use? Imm on a 256Kbps line.

imm using vista beta and intel 865GBF mobo. Does anyone know where to find the drivers. the intel official windows drivers dont support Vista. help me imm deaf!
