g-card

I know dat games @ high resol looks gr8.... But I wanna know dat whether it depends only on G-Card & monitor :confused: or only on G-Card ? coz I have LG CRT monitor 700S if i upgrade my system except monitor will it support high resolutions? :confused: pls dont laugh Im getting my doubts...
