Is it possible for me to play FLV files [flash video] in Windows Media Player? What codec do i need to use?

I want to convert a small video (5 min, VCD, avseq01.dat) file to flash (flv) to put on a website. Is there any freeware for this? I am aware of the paid options like snosh. But any complete freeware? Riva FLV encoder doesn't work :mad: although it claims to work on VCDs.

Hi! I got a few FLV video files that were embedded in Flash on the net. I saved them from the Temporary Internet Files folder but can't find a right player to run it.. Could you suggest a way out?? Please.... >> Siddhartha
