1.Connect the mobile via USB cable.
2. Open terminal and type su to become root.
3. It will ask for the root password, type in there.
4. Then Issue this command
wvdialconf /etc/wvdial.conf
Phone wud b detected as Modem
5. Then to Edit this file, open it in a Text...
Today, I installed Ubuntu 6.06 and tried to browse net.
I am using Airtel GPRS to browse net in Windows.
After some reading here and there, I went ahead with the task and ran the command
and then edited the file /etc/wvdial.conf
to change the PHONE NUMBER to "*99#"
USER NAME to "user"...
