Thats smart reasoning but the last time i wrote 4.28 GB and I could still see the empty band on the edge of the DVD of around 6-7mm which means that the DVD could actually be capable of storing 4.7 GB
So isn't that cheating like Hard disk people do.?
I am not able to write full 4.7GB of data on a DVD-R(of 4.7GB) by nero because it only seems to recognise (DVD-5)4.38GB DVDs. Increasing overburning limit also does not help as it is only till 4600 MB.
Please suggest ways of overcoming this problem in nero or suggest some other good software for...

i had copied nero 6.3.1.12 OEM CD from my friend
the problem i that on other computers it gets intalled but on my computer it refuses to insalled even after formatting
the problem with nero is that when it reaches the AudioPlayerPlugins it gives an error saying that cannot copy...
i dowloaded the drivrs for sm56 from sm56.tk
they are for both gcc2.x and gcc3
what is gcc where can i get it
and int the steps of installing the drivers the last instruction was "make install" what does this mean
