I have a BSNL broadband connection (HOME 500). It reconnects after every 5 minutes if i don't download stuff more than 5 mb and also reconnects after every 30 minutes. I asked the bsnl dudes and they say that there is no prob like this. Also, it doesnt allow me to access some sites like dbzsc.com
