Maybe your antivirus delete the svchost.exe. It.s very vital file. You can restore it using backup, repair using your xp cd before boot or you reinstall your xp
your antivirus is avg right
try kaspersky if you have money or avast for free it's better than avg
and if the virus still there after you disinfect it then use acd.see. Search the virus and delete it directly from acd.see
- first maybe you wrong plug the cable
- second maybe you cleaned the processor cream, because if you did your pc will become so hot so your pc wont start
It's absolutely your graphics cause that problem. My friend was like that to so I suggest him to plug it off then his pc became normal. Try it!! if not ask me again
