Just got my Sony Vaio c15gp.Everything is fine but i get no sound on OPENSUSE 10.It recognises the sound hardware but I get no sound.The song plays(mp3,CD or ogg) but there's no sound.Can anyone solve my problem? Help is urgently required.

Fediora Core3 Aren't the above mentioned drivers for Intel platform only. My OS is Fedora Core 3 and processor is AMD Athlon XP 2100+ which I have already mentioned. Will drivers for Intel work?

I do not get any sound in CD Player in FC3. Although other players like RealPlayer, Music Player etc work fine but I do not get any sound in CD Player. It shows that the song is being played and the scroll bar keeps on moving but there is no sound. Can anyone help me solve this problem?
