While formatting, I always install system command files that keep the DOS running along with Windows XP. #format c:/s/q Should install DOS along with XP. Tally, C and almost every DOS application should work fine.

Raaga.com and such websites play .ram files. Ram files are embedded sound files which are difficult (almost impossible) to rip. Be nice, buy the CD! ;)

Installing through DOS wont give a 'higher version' error at all. As for NTFS, yes, lots of trouble then!

Setup Windows 98 through DOS. While installation, it'll prompt you to install windows 98 in Windows.000 since Windows XP is already installed in the Windows folder. Finish the installation. Done!
