Through the onboard graphics of a Desktop. Ryzen 3 with vega 8 graphics. Same issue when connected to MSI laptop having intel onboard graphics.

I sit around at a distance of an arm's length from the monitor. I use progressive eye glasses. So cannot sit too far from the monitor.

Got the replacement from Dell today. Tested it and the same status. Pixelated text. It seems the monitor is more suited for videos rather than text applications. Disappointed. Now I have to buy another monitor.

If indeed due to low DPI, what options do we have for a 24 inch monitor with a higher DPI typically working at 1920x1080 resolution? Are there any brands to choose from? Inbuilt speakers will be an added advantage.

Amazon. Purchased in Dec 2021. It seems to be there from the begining but I did not pay much attention to it as I did not use daily. But noticed this as I started using it on a daily basis from a few weeks. For long hours my eyes are really hurting.

Nothing unusual in diagnostics. Changed color to RGB mode. Colors are inverted. Factory reset the monitor. But no luck.

I do not see any settings in the monitor. Attaching screenshots. The monitor is indeed showing the resolution 1920x1080. Confirmed from the monitor menu.

So is it all the graphic capabilities? Or did I get a faulty monitor? If not a faulty monitor does adding a bsic graphic card like GT710 or GT730 help? Given the super inflated prices of graphic cards now, Asus GT730 card is the only cheapest card I found in Amazon.

Yes I had it. It is Benq 19 inch VA panel monitor. It too had pixelation but not too much due to its smaller size i think. If I connect the old monitor to my Ryzen cpu and keep it at native resolution 1366x768 and the 100% or 150% scaling, no change. Same pixelation. But If I connect the old...
