i agree that the comfort which we get when reading from a piece of paper is unbeatable but one can still argue on the point that this comfort for us, human being, has become a discomfort for nature.
hence i would choose the electronic way
I never said that they dont work under ubuntu, but what i said is that they are not that easy to get to work under Fedora. Thanks about the Gparted bit but i already got the hard disk to partition:D
so, i installed fedora without any probs but the fact is that my internet aint working and the guides which are on the net are all targeted towards ubuntu
so how can i change?
should i just reformat the partition which had ubuntu? will it damage grub?

i think you dont understand what i am requesting. i cant delete or resize or partition my hard disk. need help fixing that in order to install linux
using live cds never works.
it shows that the drive is full and no space is left, whenever i try to resize or do anything with the partition

CPU Voltage Error
Hello,
i recently installed vista on my pc with the following congfig:
AMD Athlon 64 2800+
Asus K8S Mx
ATI HD 2400
512*2 DDR PC3200 400
400 W PSU
Whenever i boot into vista, my system automatically restarts showing a CPU voltage error message.
please help me rectify the prob

I have a Phillips external dvd writer which i cant get to boot from. my other DVD/Cd combo reads only cd but not dvds.
i wanted to know if we could split the fedora core 3.2 GB disc into smaller bootable cds.
