ACPI not compliant
I had tried before disabling the APM but couldn't succeed. This time around I was able to install the lite version of Windows XP. But while installing the chipset drivers, the blue screen popped with stop error message. I reinstalled it, it was working fine without the motherboard drivers but...- sama2802

ACPI not compliant
During installation of Windows XP Pro PC gives a stop error that says the BIOS is not fully ACPI compliant and asks to restart the PC. CPU is Intel P4 & the motherboard is of MSI- sama2802

There was a problem with the motherboard.I gave it to the company.They declared it as irreparable.I got a replacement for it. Thanks all.- sama2802

I tried removing & reinserting the CMOS battery, but of no use.Power is not supplied to the motherboard when the power pin on the board is touched by a screw driver.- sama2802

I have a serious problem and I doesn't seem to figure it out. Problem is, whenever the power is turned on from the main switch the system starts on its own and then shuts down within 3-4 seconds.Pressing the power button on the cabinet does not start the PC.
