Tata photon and Reliance netconnect broadband do offer 3.1 Mbps speeds - but the max data you can download for free is 10 GB. With that data limit whts the use of 3.1 Mbps speed??? you'd end up paying as much as wht 3 Mbps wired connection would have cost.

This is how it works with XP: Boot with your XP install CD - select the option - repair installation. It goes to command prompt. If there is a admin password u'll have to enter it. Execute the command fixmbr. Reboot the system.

iam not aware of the services available in delhi... but u can check out the EVDO services rolled out recently... tata indicom (VSNL) and reliance provides the service. Iam using EVDO for my internet access (ISP is BSNL).

In volume settings mute your mic volume and check if the noise exists. The noise maybe because your mic is capturing surrounding noise and is played through your speakers.
