For using a monitor with Mac, is having usb c port mandatory or should it be apple certificied?

Getting 1080p 27" at 100Hz for 18k is stupid when you can get 1080p 24" 180Hz at 9k.

These monitors doesn't even have a basic USB type C to connect my macbook air. Lenovo has advantage of higher contrast 1500:1 IPS in comparison to 1000:1 IPS. Also have type c that allows 75W charging of macbook air

That emoji shows up as an empty rectangle . Also, USB-C has been in production since 2014, years before Apple was forced to adapt it.
Port-less phones is a retarded design decision. BTW, lets not get too off topic, just refer to Rtings and monitors unboxed on youtube for a better recommendation in your budget.

Again, you'd need to get a dongle for your laptop or settle for not so good monitor with USB-C passthrough charging support.
