At the end of the day you have to format windows, defraging and all cleaners will provide a 10% performance increase. A fresh windows install will always be much smoother.

In Amd CCC you cannot change the aspect ratio for some weird reason, while playing cs 1.6 i have to manually change the the ratio from my monitor control panel.

+1 for the SGS Advance but it has no official plans for ICS, if the Xperia P battery life is fine with you then go for it. While for Motorola i heard that their service centers here are a pain.

Galaxy S Advance is pretty good too a smaller S2 infact, its around 22k at saholic. It was released in April 2012 but no news about ICS for it, i expect that it might get it later on.
