as i mentioned cilus if the computer is at stake i would be buying the best out there apc 1.1kv then

is a ups really required i mean...if i don't buy it will it destroy my system..as far as i know failure due to surges are not covered in the warranties.......my area does have power surges but a lot of people do not use ups's.............if my system is not in trouble i would buy the 7970...
