Today I purchase one 80 GB Hitachi, 2.5" portable hard drive. when I connect to my system....althou it recognizes it...but new drive does not appear inside My Computers ....Pls help me out in this !!!!
i recently purchased samsung 18X dvd writer...the problem is that it can't read some of the DVDs(but they r working in my laptop).... it can read original DVDs and those DVDs which i write using my DVD writer
by crossover cable do u mean a simple LAN cable???

if ur system is having Pentium dual core processor..... then u will definitly get restarting problem...bcos it gets heated easily na d hangs or restarts. i am havin same processor and gettin same problem ...so there are following 2 methods to solve ur problem:
1.) put some thermal paste on ur...

ok one more ques ...if my SMPS is havin problem why does the CPU cooling fan starts to rotate at very very high speed.

no it is not continuous beep ...it beeps only 3 times
and there is no dust in my PC as it was recently assembled 2 months back

80 GB samsung hard disk
whenver i start my PC after 5 - 10 mins my PC hangs and when i restart it does not boot up(it hangs again) , the processor cooloing fan starts...
