sorry, but i tried installing Winamp and then DFX onto a totally seperate partition. but that doesnt work as well. i downloaded the latest version of DFX too. could the problem lie with my OS: Windows ME ?

tried that already. but still doesnt work. the wierd thing is that it works fine without the plug-in.

i was witnessing a similar problem recently. got fixed on its own though. it might be related to power issues. try to check the chord connections. it might also be a fault in the MTNL phone line, i suspect.
