Connecting to Google Talk using Trillian Pro / Miranda IM

hi there,

i am trying to connect to Google Talk through Trillian Pro / Miranda IM using the Jabber Protocol. however i am unable to do so. (i have WinME for an OS)

i get an error message in Miranda IM asking me to install the SSL library.

i have downloaded this file "sslib.tar.gz" form the SourceForge site although i cant figure out how to use it.

any suggestions as to where i could get a "Setup.exe" file from?

1) Activate the Jabber plugin in Preferences
2) Add your gmail username & password
3) in 'Change..',enter the server host as talk.google.com and the port as 5222
4) Leave the SSL box unchecked,check the 'reconnect' box.
5) Connect
6) there is no 6th step.

already tried that, but it simply isnt connecting.

there must be issues with the SSL authentication since i have WinME installed instead of WinXp.

how can i download/install the SSL library ?

i tried installing this Win32OpenSSL-v0.9.8a.exe from

*www.slproweb.com/products/Win32OpenSSL.html

but it still doesnt work.....
