Yes..buying it from US and will use it here atleast for next 1 year. Its a gift..nexus 7 without sd slot will not work for the receiver. Fonepad 7 is good but dont want call functionality as will not use that in US. Plus the cost is same as India. Any other option of wi-fi only under $150...

Yes.. Its 635 only and I understand LTE will not work. My concern was regarding the carrier lock of AT&T as its a go-phone ( No contract pre paid phone)!!

7 will do if it has calling. LTE does not mean it call always. - - - Updated - - - I agree. But in India we have options. I only need the basic tab functions anyway.some of the lenovo/asus costs more here.

Thx buddy, its working now. Another issue is: while receiving a call, my media sound is going to zero and then we call ends then some time it is coming back to prev stage and sometime remaining at zero only. This cant be normal, rite?Anyone facing the same issue?
