SLI mobos are not useful unless u have a 19" monitor, so no point going for it if no monitor Also availability of single 16x pcie slot mobos is practically nil. But you can get them at a waiting time of 3-4 weeks. MSI Neo4 Plat is the best bet in such a case

there isnt any other PCIe card available as of now, + the 2nd slot is made for a 2nd gfx card so you can link the 2 cards and use them

Asus K8NE is a 754 mobo, go for ASUS A8V-dlx or MSI Neo2 plat

Hey i am posting this frm my old PC being 166Mhz, 16MB RAM, Creative soundblaster 16, and 1 MB VRAM

the prob is i meant i cant co-relate the mobo with the processor(sure i know AMD fits AMD mobo's.....) 75K is not a lot when you consider that from circa 2000 A.D. i've been on the same old comp. +that sorta went upin smoke a coupla days back due to a voltage surge, which shorted mu UPS too...

Yeah i did do some searching and sorta have a config in my head but the prob is i have no clue as to which mobo fits which processor, and stuff like that. I have a budget of 65-75K so a good system should be available. + the whole thing shouldna become obsolete in a year and a half, so pls...
