@omega44-xt I was able to get the cable working by switching to DisplayPort version 1.2 instead of 1.4 resolved the issue.

@Nerevarine thanks, but the issue is resolved. I read somewhere that in your monitor settings, switching to DisplayPort version 1.2 instead of 1.4 resolved the issue. It worked for me.

@TheSloth I'd have loved an ultrawide but all models under 40k were were just 1080p models (2560 x 1080). 1080p is just too low a resolution these days.
