    u said win 7 ate ur xp, means u had installed win 7, over win xp, no logic here that u r unable to boot, bt in case u are use EasyBCD (free version) to reconfigure ur boot, (or say set dual-boot) and 1 thing EasyBCD doesn't work with Windows XP

    can you upload screen shot of your MSI Graphic Controller Utility, there should be an option like "Scale with Fixed Aspect Ratio" if u could find urself,, otherwise plz upload screenshot of MSI utility. because in google image search there are many different type software for configuring properties

    Installing OS through a card reader.

    I tried, boots Windows installer fine, but please don't use low-class card reader (as they are in market a lot priced 20-40 INR), they will heat-up and stop working in mid (happened to me, so alerting to you)

    Right click on desktop go to Graphic Properties, from here change resolution to aspect ratio 4:3, means change to 800x600 or 1024x768 apply Ok now right click on desktop, go to Screen Resolution, from here change your resolution to default what it was before, now your game will be played...

    Unassociate file type !!

    u r talking about dissociation, not changing association you can do it by following method go to Windows Registry Editor (WinKey + R >> then type regedit >> hit Enter) HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT >> expand this >> look for the extension which u want to dissociate, delete its default value, DONE
