You want to hide a folder or the name of the folder?
ALT + Code is for getting a blank name to the folder or file.
If you want to hide, then just go to properties and check "Hidden".
Dont give the privileges of "folder options"
That will do the trick...
Try the following:
Install Klite Mega codec pack, and then
Go to start menu --> Klite mega codec pack -->tools --> codec options
Then, there you will find one option " Boost AC3 volume "
Enable it and then play the movie.

DVD SHRINK is the best solution.
You can reduce the file size further by converting the files to Xvid but you wont have chapters.
You can have subtitles though.
