Thanks a lot guys. Been happy with my purchase. There were some issues (like touchpad doesn't work sometimes) but overall very solid purchase.

Finally got the updated warranty. For future reference, for an Indian customer, write to pop@lenovo.com with all purchase proofs. Wait a few days, if you don't get any reply talk to customer service and keep badgering them. Bothering with the official portal seemed to be a waste of time.

Called it one too many times. They keep saying give us a day and a day later nothing is done.

There's also a huge weight difference. Lenovo one is significantly heavier maybe because of dedicated GPU
