New PC build help

I'm planning to upgrade to a new PC and would really appreciate some advice on choosing the right components. I'm looking for a balanced build that can handle some gaming and everyday multitasking smoothly.

Here's what I'm looking for:

• Preferably an Intel CPU
• Good value for money without overspending
• I'll be using a dedicated graphics card

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.' Vague answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work.)
Ans: I will use the pc for working on MS office, watching movies, playing games like - Forza Horizon series, WWE2K series, Mortal Kombat 1, Street Fighter 6 , Dirt 5 & 6, Call of duty series, Battlefield series, Need For Speed series, GTA VI.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then please mention.
Ans: 50k - 60k

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: No

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Windows 11

5. How much hard drive / solid-state drive space is needed?
Ans: 1TB

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention the screen size and resolution you prefer. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, then do mention the screen size and resolution of the monitor you have.
Ans: Will reuse old monitor. Resolution 1920 x 1080, Size 21.5 inch, 60 Hz.

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy? i.e. which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: I will reuse these components: SSD - Crucial BX500 1 TB, monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers.

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: Within a month

9. Have you ever built a desktop before? Or, will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: Assembler

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Mumbai. I prefer to buy locally.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: I also have a storage question. I plan to install Windows 11 on an NVMe SSD and keep my files on a separate SSD (Crucial 1TB). How much storage should I allocate for the Windows installation to ensure it runs comfortably and leaves room for future updates?

Also, is NVMe a better option for installing Windows vs a normal SSD?

I have been using AMD systems for the past 12 years and would now like to try an Intel system. I intend to use the new system for the max number of years without any extra upgrades.

Without increasing the budget one cannot get a decent gaming pc in these times.

Thanks for sharing this. I know that the component prices have increased a lot and it would cost me more to build a pc now.

But I am okay to compromise on the gaming experience and choose a less costing system just to get it in my budget.

Also, which Nvme would be a good choice?

You have shared the specs for an AMD system. Could you let me know which Intel system would be good as well?

What is the size of NVMe SSD? Keep at least 170 to 180 GB min for Windows 11 keeping in mind all programs/apps that you want to install plus pagefile + hiberfil sys file + profile + restore points and other data. Plus leave at least 50 GB free space between the next partition so that in future if need be you can extend C drive.
Preferably move libraries to your data SSD i.e. Documents/Downloads/Pictures/Music/Video etc. So keep the entire 170 ~ 200 GB for Windows 11.

NVMe is better than SATA SSD provided it is connected to correct PCIe Interface. e.g. PCIe 4 device plugged into PCIe 3 will still operate at 3 speeds not 4 and like that.
If the SSD has DRAM it will perform better but those are a bit more expensive.
