I need a new general purpose laptop very soon; please suggest.

1) What is your budget? (INR or USD)

INR 50,000 approx.

2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?

Any size, 14"-16" FHD

3) What are the primary tasks you will be performing with this notebook?

MS Office, emails, internet, online classes, etc. No gaming, no heavy work.

5) Any typical configuration in your mind you're eying for ?

Nothing special.

4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?

Any well-known laptop brand is fine.

6) Anything else you would like to say?

Nothing special, but need to purchase within few days.

I was looking online on Amazon/Flipkart, but looks like prices have increased these days and couldn't find anything suitable.

Please suggest a good laptop!

Have you considered getting a second-hand laptop? Those are cheaper and you can get older generation higher end model at a reasonable price.

No, I've not thought about that; not sure from where to get and how reliable will be those laptops. Any reliable website to check the available options?
