INR 65,000

Office work (Lot of Chrome tabs, Excel, Slack, Photoshop etc.) and OTT media consumption.

4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
a. Like: Lenovo, ThinkPad
b. Dislike: No Chinese brands like Mi

5) Any typical configuration in your mind you're eying for ?

None in mind.

6) Anything else you would like to say?
  • Screen resolution :1080p (Full HD) )
  • Battery back up : extended (5-7hrs) )
  • Purchase place ( Preferably Local, Online is okay too)
Main requirements are: Good screen, good build and longevity. (this laptop is for a partially blind person) Not interested in gimmicky features.

This is more than sufficient for a 15.6" laptop, but its biggest drawback is soldered RAM:
Amazon.in: Buy Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 AMD Ryzen 7 4700U 14 inch (35.56 cms) Full HD IPS Thin and Light Laptop (8GB/512GB SSD/Windows 10/MS Office 2019/Integrated AMD Radeon Graphics/Graphite Grey/1.39Kg), 81YM002TIN Online at Low Prices in India | Lenovo Reviews & Ratings

Photoshop uses a lot of RAM depending on how much you use it, so maybe one of these:
Amazon.in: Buy Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 11th Gen Intel Core i5 15.6" FHD IPS Thin & Light Laptop (16GB/512GB SSD/Win 10/Office/Integrated Iris Xe Graphics/Fingerprint Reader/Graphite Grey/1.66Kg), 82FG0125IN Online at Low Prices in India | Lenovo Reviews & Ratings

Wait for Prime Day for some card offer or use Amazon ICICI CC, if you have it.

i5 11th gen < R7 4700U < R7 5700U in terms of performance. Adobe software is well optimized for Intel, so the 4 core i5 won't be a slouch.

Thank you for the suggestions. I liked the slim 5 11th gen i5. However, I'm still pondering if the cost justifies the usage at 67k. What about ThinkPads? Are they any good? I hear they're rugged and last for long.

There are 14" options, not 15.6" ones at that budget as those are expensive:
ThinkPad E14 Gen 3 (14" AMD) laptop | 14” business laptop powered by AMD | Lenovo India
Customize it with R5 5500U (6c/12t) & IPS display. Get Win10 OEM key for like 500 from some seller for OS. Other good upgrades are 2nd 8GB RAM, 512GB primary SSD & 100% sRGB IPS display, all comes to 69k w/o Win10.
