Gigabyte B550M Aorus Pro or Asrock B550M Steel Legend?

I am configuring new Ryzen based PC and have decided to go for B550 chipset based mATX motherboard. I am confused between Gigabyte B550M Aorus Pro and Asrock B550M Steel Legend Mobos. Can you help me in deciding which is a better one? Any other alternative in the same price bracket?

B550M Steel Legend or MSI B550 A Pro based on to Hardware Unboxed round up video. Which CPU are you going to run on it?

AsRock B550M Steel Legend

MSI B550M Pro VDH WiFi is another good option, costs under 11k.

Worst case mobo VRM test:

Do note that its worst-case scenario & an R5 3600/3700X draws up to 90W. Do check the number of ports available & other features other than VRMs before making a decision.

I have been checking VRM temps too on some videos on the Youtube. Steel Legend did fine.
Another option I found is MSI B550 Gaming Plus which is marginally better (and cost marginally more) than steel legend and is full ATX. I will be upgrading to R5 5600X or better by next year so has to decide for MoBo accordingly. Should I consider MSI too or Steel Legend is OK?
MSI B550M Pro-VDH is OK for some light work only and not for heavy gaming (I am guessing looking at the temps). Hence I am avoiding it.

Gigabyte B550M DS3H will be fine for R5 5600X as well. Watch the full video, you will see that R9 w/o OC which draws 130W doesn't affect VRM temps much. So Steel Legend will be great even for R7 5800X even if you consider Indian summers.

Just for my information - will it be wise to go for B450 chipset based Mobo (like Asus ROG STRIX B450-F) since this board now too supports R5 5600X CPU?

B450 boards will support 5xxx series but imo, it is better to go for b550 boards to avoid possible BIOS related issues in future since b550 are made by keeping 5xxx series in mind. But this is more of just opinion based on my peace of mind.

IMO not worth it to spend over 7k on B450. AsRock B450 Pro4 for 7k is a good choice, above that, just get Gigabyte B550M DS3H, its under 9k now. There's a guy I know who is running R7 5800X on his old B450 mobo without issues, I think he has some Gigabyte Aorus model.

The reason I asked was that for the price of middle range B550 mobo I can get high end B450 mobo. Since B550 is end of line for AM4 socket and since there was not much difference between B450 and B550 chipset I thought of going the value way. I could go for good B450 mobo and add R5 5600X CPU now. Next year I can upgrade my RX 580 to any latest GFX card and thus keep the config viable for next 3-4 years before jumping to AM5 or equivalent system. Again just my thought - I could be doing wrong.

That is good advice.

Except for Samsung NVMe drive(bought from Primeabgb) all other parts were bought locally at Delhi. Price for Samsung 970 EVO Plus is crazy in Delhi - got quote for no less than 8,600/- everywhere whereas you can buy it online for 7,300/-. These Delhi dealers can't stop fleecing their customers. :-x

Laptop was good..I upgraded it with 500GB M.2 SATA and 1TB 2.5" SATA drives. Its still works fine but I never liked playing games on a laptop. I had connected it with 24" AOC monitor for gaming but then with GTX 1050 card you can't play all the games without the laptop getting really hot.
