2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then please mention.
Ans : 50k

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans : No.

Ans: Windows 10

5. How much hard drive / solid-state drive space is needed?

Ans : Yes, I want to buy a monitor. Screen size : 22 OR 24 inch.

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy? i.e. which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans : I want to buy the entire set up.

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans : In the next 3 - 4 months.

9. Have you ever built a desktop before? Or, will this be done by an assembler?

3-4 months is a long time & all pc components/laptops/ssd are currently significantly overpriced due to increased demand & short supply so update the thread 2-3 weeks before actual buying.

Hmm. I just need the config for now, the pricing can be flexible. If possible, could you please recommend me a config? I would at least get a basic idea of what I'm working with.

The main thing is, amd ryzen 4xxx series processors are going to be released soon & based on their pricing only it would be possible to give a fair idea else current series available in market for ryzen is 3xxx. You can check below thread for reference:

Reviving this thread, I want to assemble the PC by mid of January. My original budget was 60k, but now I have increased it to 85k as all the configs so far are rounding up to 85k, (*without the monitor*)

This is ONE of the few shortlisted configs so far :

Platform : Amd
CPU : Ryzen5 - 3600XT upto 4.50 Ghz
CPU-Cooler : Stock - Stock Cooler
Motherboard : Gigabyte - B450M DS3H
Graphics-Card : GTX1660 Super - ZOTAC Amp 6GB
SSD : Seagate - Barracuda 1TB
HDD : WD - Black 250GB (SN750) M.2 NVME
RAM : 16x2 - Corsair Veng 32GB 3000
SMPS : Antec - NE 650
Case : Corsair - 275R
Wattage : 275
Price : ₹88,759.00

Would appreciate any monitor suggestions.

Ryzen 5000 price may have stabilized by mid Jan. So keep 5600x and 3700x in consideration.
Go for better board. Asrock B450 Pro4 if you're going for 3000 series or B550M Pro4/B550M Pro VDH if you're going for 5000 series.
3600mhz costs about the same as 3000mhz/3200mhz.

Ask again in Jan. R5 5600 is rumoured to be out in Jan. Don't expect new GPUs before Feb/Mar.

Mobo - Gigabyte B550M DS3H - 9.5k, worth the extra 2k. Otherwise, AsRock B450 Pro4 for 7.5k. With Ryzen 5000, better get B550.

As suggested earlier, get A2000 or SN550 for SSD, better value for money as realistically there's no performance difference.

Get at least 3200MHz RAM IMO. If possible 3600MHz, if the price difference isn't a lot. 3200MHz is a good sweet spot.

PSU - Antec NE Gold series is decent, other option is CM MWE Gold.

After all the suggestions, and posts on this thread, I have FINALIZED this configuration. I am finalizing this in a week.

AMD Ryzen 5 3600 upto 4.50ghz
Asrock B450 Pro 4
Graphic Card
Kingston A2000 500GB NVME SSD
WD 1TB Blue HDD
Corsair 16GB X 2nos DDR4 3600Mhz RAM
Cooler Master 650watts SMPS
Antec NX800 ARGB (E-ATX) Mid Tower Cabinet with Tempered Glass side Panel (Black)
Acer KG241QP 24" Monitor

Is there really a difference between GTX 1660 Super and Zotac GTX 1660 6GB ?

Any suggestions/changes appreciated.

Main requirement - 3D Rendering and VFX.

1660 Super is atleast 5-10% better than 1660 in general gaming performance. Because of that 1660S gets more recommendations than 1660. Go for Super.

Compare your shortlisted case with Antec DF600 FLUX and Cooler Master MB511/520. I haven't read any reviews of DF660 Flux, just suggesting based on features and budget.

1660S is the better choice, good enough difference between those 2.

For cabinet, can check Lian Li 215, pretty good reviews & cheaper. Check its review by Gamer Nexus.

Avoid that monitor at any any costs, TN is just bad & you are using it for pr

I would avoid it unless it is the only option.
